GHE Spirit Wear Sale!
We have all of our Spirit Wear on sale for month of April. Don’t wait to order, because it is for existing stock only and there are limited sizes and styles. Go to the sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0A48AFA62A1-green to place your order. Once you’ve placed your order, send in your check payable to GHE PTA and we’ll send your shirts home.

Order Your School Kit for Next Year
Please look for the flyer coming home about ordering School Kits for the 2013-2014 school year. You can order school kits by going to www.shopttkits.com and entering our school account 88419.
This is a great program for making "back to school time" less hectic and more enjoyable for both parents and students! The kits are optional and offer convenience of not having to purchase in the stores. The supply lists are set by the teachers at each grade level, however some teachers may ask for additional items after “Meet the Teachers”. Schoolkidz contributes a portion of the proceeds to our school. Note: We will not be able to accept any orders after the deadline of Friday, May 17th

FIELD DAY 2013
Friday, May 31st is GHE Field Day!!
We'll need lots of parent volunteers on that day to make sure our kids have a safe and fun experience. Coach G and Coach Sigmund set up lots of fun stations outside and in the gym. Dunk Tanks, Sports Stations and even a Water Slide to name a few- it's a great reward for a year of hard work in the classroom!

Election of PTA Officers for 2013-2014
At the PTA General Membership Meeting
Wednesday May 15th at 9:15 a.m. in the School Cafeteria
The GHE PTA Nominating Committee is pleased to announce their slate for next school year’s officers as follows:
President: Anita Minicucci

VP Membership: Kimberly Daniels
VP Ways & Means: Jenna DePinto
VP Academic Programs: Kim Hoffman
VP Social Programs: Bridget Veratti
VP Hospitality: Kristan Lloyd
Treasurer: Dee Dee Cale
The vote for the offices will take place at the General Membership Meeting on May 15th. The above candidates were interviewed and recommended by the Nominating Committee. At the meeting, nominations from the floor will be allowed. The PTA will also be voting on a proposed budget amendment and set PTA dues for next year. On behalf of the Nominating Committee, we’d like to thank you all who signed up to hold a PTA position for the 2013 – 2014 school year. Your support of GHE is invaluable.
